1. Is membership restricted to those working in the industry?
No, membership is open to those who spend a major portion of their professional time in planning, directing, executing, interpreting or presenting social or marketing research projects. The Associate Membership Category under Individual Membership specifically targets those not directly working in the industry but meet the stated criteria for membership eligibility
2. How do I become an MSRA member?
By submitting a filled out membership form for the specific category you wish to apply for with remittance to the Secretariat for tabling to the Council during its next meeting (meets monthly)
3. If my company is a corporate member, does that automatically guarantee me individual membership?
No, individual membership is a personal decision geared towards personal career growth. You therefore have to apply for consideration of the various individual membership categories.
4. When is my membership renewal due?
Corporate Membership renewal is due at the beginning of every calender year (beginning of January) while individual membership is renewed after every 12 months following subscription (so that if you subscribe in May, your membership renewal will be due at the beginning of May of every year) |
5. Do I have to be a member in order to participate during the Association's events and activities?
No, unless otherwise specified. As a member however (and as noted under the Membership Center in this site), you will enjoy discounted rates to participate in events and activities |
